This is a fast track with the main racing area being flat.
Its easy to get lost at first but after a couple of sets of 10 laps you should be betting down to 1:05 a lap.
The turns look easy but the faster you go on a couple of them you will see a corner of a wall you can hit very easily.
The other 2 parts are the lego type of tunnel with a modification to the lower surface which you usually drive on.
The 2 tunnels have a few too many turns with a couple of turn too close to each other.
You need to go slow in these tunnels to get a decent time.
The entrance to the first tunnel is difficult to get right and you will be spun 90 degrees if you don't get it just right.
Overall apart from the tunnels the track is fine with decent visual around the track.
12th June 2011 : 2 New Tracks Gang City and Mansion of
Madness
This is a good fast track with a number of parts that will catch you out
as you try to go faster. You need to learn this track well and how to
take a few corners so you won't loose too much time. The visuals are ok
with a siren going off on half the track , this may distract you a
little though. Overall not an easy track and you must keep concentrating
and where your car should be for the next turn.
This is a long track but not too difficult to learn. The outside area is
too dark to race on except in a dark room. There are a lot of turns
inside the mansion which can make it at first a bit frustrating too
learn at first. Do what I do, set up a race with one other car and at
least 8 laps. Then follow it around as the arrows may sometimes only
apply to the closest of corners. Just follow the Ai car around until you
can do a few of the parts at near race speed. One other little issue is
that in one area you will get repo`d but you view will be underneath the
track. This is not just this track but is a common issue on raised areas
of track with a lower non racing level. If this track was a bit
brighter then it would make the track a lot better.
This is a short track at only 277m. Its a constant left turn that is
most suited to the faster cars. But if you want to perfect your driving
you can race this with Toyeca and try to do the cleanest lap. This may
sound easy but to get a consistent lap time of lower than 15.2sec in
Toyeca is hard to do. This may show you how the faster ppl race on the
easier tracks like nhood1 and get very fast times. if you can go
from doing say 15.4 sec to 15.2 or lower you will save 0.8 on a 4 lap
race.

I have the format of the track guides with Mario`s
Warehouse being the first to be changed. I have added a large pic that shows
all of the track area except for the lighthouse that is on its own island. The picture
is 2.3 mb so it will take a few seconds to download. I am looking for the
next track to do a guide for.

Mario`s Warehouse : This is a short
track but has lots to offer. It is fast and has many parts which are hard to
do correctly. Not much to see around the track but you don't get much time to do
some site seeing. I think this is a good track to practice on as you can
never do the same lap time twice. My fastest time was 32.9 seconds and this
was in a set of 10 laps which varied between 46+ seconds to low 34 seconds.
Website Update 11th April 2011 I have re engineered the Harbor Lights track Guide.
Nearly all of the changes are to the html and the layout.
This track is a little hard to see the correct path and
you can loose your way easily.I had to wait till it was night before I could see
the track clearly.
Website update 6th April 2011 Venice track guide has had some (28) extra pictures
added to show most of the buildings around the track. I have completed
updating/refreshing the track guides. Added the text for the Yabba Dabba Doo
(Stones) track guide.
Website updates 5th April 2011 I am up to the track guide for Venice at the moment. I
want to add some extra pictures of the buildings in the Venice track.
Hopefully I will do over 10 as this is an excellent track to look at and race
on. I am going to add some more videos which will be posted on Youtube with
links in the track guide. Also I will do another extra for this track which
will be a download from the Venice track guide. When I have finished updating
the current track guides I will do the Mario`s Warehouse track guide. And I
will add some times for the 2 new tracks that are below.
Website Updates:- I have added a few extra pictures for
the PetroVolt track guide. Adjusted most of the track guides so they are more
similar. Currently I have about 10 to check. I will update the track download
data near the end of the month. I will be doing a track guide for Mario's
Warehouse as well. if you have noticed I hace used the term "Arc Date", this
is found by looking at the newsest file in th level folder for the track. This
is the date you will see in the data for each track. This has been used as
when compling the track dat into my spreadsheet I need an absolute reference
for the date for each track.
27th March 2011 - Next Track Guide : Harbor Lights
Now Completed
Harbor Lights :-This will be
the next track guide. Just been racing on it with a fastest lap
around 40.5 seconds. There are many small bumps you just cannot see but
will knock you off your line if you hit them. This is a fast track
but not too long (551m) with very few slow parts and some you need to
take around below top speed. I like the parts where you cannot see
the exit/tunnel but have to drive through plants etc. on the way to
them. Guide for this track is coming soon. Just did a lap in
38.776 seconds!

I have removed the track called
Offroad 1 (Offroad.zip) from XTG. The track after I had got it to load in game
was unplayable. The track kept repositioning my car every 3 or 4 seconds. To
fix it I removed the bar charactor from the file names in the track folder.
There was no readme file so I cannot contact the authour.

page with a list of my favorite tracks.
As you may see I have uploaded I think all of the Extreme
tracks. I noticed that Snakeway is not on RVZT.
Currently I have 607 tracks on XTG which is using 2gb of space
on the web server.
