Track Guide Text

Isola Verde

1. The Start
One of the 3 straight's on this track. Go towards the right side and near the far end of the pool make
sure you are going straight before you start to turn to the left.

2. Pool Corner
Start to turn early and turn slowly so you don't skid and aim just to the right of the corner of the pool.
Then before you end the turn aim for the edge of the tiled area parallel to the far side of the pool. next
you should aim for the far corner of the plant pot which by then you should have turned about a quarter through the turn.

3: Plant Pot Slide Turn
You need to be turning before you get to the edge of the plant pot to make the turn. If you get it right you should
have done a 180 turn and be facing the up ramp to the water slide. Going fast up to the slope is
not a good idea as you need to be going at just the right speed not to hit the railings on the first turn after the first slope.

4. First turn up to the water slide.
As long as you get up this slope and turn without hitting the railings in front of you is the objective here.
As you get near the top of the slope turn right and hopefully you should land then turn carefully so you end
up on the left side of the 2nd ramp.

5. 2nd Level
Do as small jump as you can and turn just as you get to the top of the ramp. The blue X is where you should land
then turn and head for the far right side of the 3rd ramp. As you go up the ramp start to turn and slow down a little.

6. Top level of the water slide
If you have turned enough on the ramp you will only need to turn a little more to the right then a left turn
towards the water slide. If you get this part right it will improve your time by a couple of seconds. Its easy to
make a mistake here and you can go off the top here as there is a gap between the 2 water slides entrances.
The second one you can go in but you will be repo`d very quickly.

7. Water Slide
Keep straight here and as fast as possible here and avoid the slanted edges of the water slide.

8. Into the water slide pool
The thing you want to avoid as you land in the pool is sliding too much. This is hard to get right so in this case you
can turn as late as possible bounce off the side of the pool and then turn and aim for the exit ramp in the far corner.

9. Exit ramp from pool
You can go as fast as possible in the pool but as you go up the ramp turn to the right and hit the brakes.
If you do not do this you will over shoot the next turn and get a repo.

10. Turn Before the Bridge
The dashed line shows how far I jumped after braking hard near the top of the ramp. You can see that
I had already turned 25% of the turn before I had landed so you do not need to turn the full amount after
you land and so keep your speed up. By not hitting the brakes on the ramp exit from the pool you will
land to far to turn back as you will go too far off the track and then get a repo.
Now as you go over the bridge aim for the gap between the fence and the support for the yellow slide.

11. Fence Turn
Drive straight until you get to the blue X. Start to turn but try to keep your speed as fast as possible.
After the corner of the fence turn until you are aiming for the gap between the green and red water rings.

12. The Water Rings
This is a little tricky to get right but when you do you will be able to go fast for a long part of this track.
The blue line is the best one with the red ones which are just a little to the left or right will flip
your car a little so slowing you down.

13. Fast Long Straight
Simples!

14. Long Turn!
Try not to skid when doing this turn as it is long so you will loose more time quickly.

15. Over View of Long Turn.
As in 14 try not to slow down early on in the turn. As you near the end of the turn you need to aim
for the next area.

16. The White Area
This area is very slippy so you cannot afford to need to turn to correct your line. At the end of the previous
turn you need to aim for the railings just past the middle of the white area.

17. Slippy Turn.
The blue cross shows where you need to brake hard for a second and then at the red cross you need to
turn to the right. You will then slide into the railings and hopefully you not be going too fast and bounce
of them and spin too much. If you get this right you will only bounce off the railing a little and then
you will be lined up for the exit from this area.

18. Track video Pic
Here you can see the slide after the bounce off the railings which will line you up for the exit.
The blue line shows that this is possible and very helpful on this slippy surface.

19. Exit From Slippy Area
Just go straight until just after the end (blue cross) of the white area and then start to turn slowly and at about
half way across the tiled area turn more and line yourself up for the stairs (wooden ramp). Make sure you are
going straight before you hit the ramp as it is easy to go up the edges of the ramp and you cannot drive off it.
It's a repo !!

20. Wooden Ramp
As long as you are going straight you are ok!

21. Wooden Ramp Jump
As you near the top of the wooden ramp you can do a turn jump off it which and land between the
wooden ramp and the wide water slide. The blue X shows where I land.

22. Top of The Water Slide
After you land turn hard and then hit the gas which should turn you more and
get you into the left most slide.

23. Edges of water slides.
The edges of the water slide are a little hard to see in the picture so I added a couple of "red" lines.
Keep off these divisions which will slow you down. Head straight down the water slide of choice,
I choose the left most one as I then have a good edge to see on the left (from the top view down the slide).

24. Water Slide Pool
When you land in this pool it is very easy to slide in the pool and turn too much. This is in my opinion
luck if you get it right and if you want to bounce off the far side there is the pool ladder to avoid.

25. Pool Exit Ramp.
After you have done your turn/slide in the pool you need to aim for this ramp to get out.
After this ramp there are a number of ways to go around the last turn.

26. The Yellow Line
Here there are 3 ways you can go around the last turn. This its dependent on where you land after the ramp.
The red line shows that a turn to the left as you go up the ramp will hopefully make your go through the railing
and land on or near the red cross. This is not the best as you will then need to do a wider turn. The middle
blue line I think is the best but tricky to do and maybe the fastest. The right blue line is the easiest and a little slower
 than the middle blue line.

27. The End
The middle blue line goes onto the left line which is tricky but possible. Watch out for the blue hole.
You can go over the corner of it a little but be careful. The wider line (on the right) is a little slower
but gives you a better approach to the first line.
