BERRYLAND MUFFINWORKS This Re-Volt track is inspired by part of my childhood memories - the DVD movies I saw in my elementary school. Name - Berryland Muffinworks Author - The Green J Length - 314 meters Difficulty - Extreme Software used - Blender, Paint.net, PowerPoint, Audacity, RVGL's MAKEITGOOD, LMMS Story: On the second lap of the race in School's Out! 2, RV Loco had fallen so far behind that a shortcut opened up in the school hallway. Loco used that shortcut with a turbo battery to speed up, but his top speed and turbo power was beyond his capacity for control, and he crashed into the lockers with such force that he bounced around the school until he hit a television set in the CDC classroom, not breaking it but instead being teleported into an animated direct-to-video film called "Berry Fairies: The Great Muffin Rescue." After Loco's absence from the race was noticed by the other cars, they discovered him inside the same set that he had been teleported into. They made the decision to follow Loco's lead and enter the set by doing the same thing he did, and it worked; a strong enough hit to the lockers caused them to bounce about and get teleported into the film. The film they were inside was about a blueberry muffin robbery and the fairies' quest to return the stolen muffins to the muffin factory. The cars scurried to hide themselves from human view as the film was being played, but alas this also meant that the factory in the film would later be in danger of exploding. Now they have a new mission: to race as quickly as possible to escape the heat of the factory and return to reality. Trivia: - The radio in the reception room plays part of my alternate music for benderfan3124's Port Limano EX and LMS. - Since Flag High can't be set to -1 (yet), it's difficult to implement the factory overload trigger in the final lap, so I changed it to when cars hit a control panel. - Near the entrance of the factory, there is a main menu of the DVD for the film you are inside. I included this feature because before I got into the world of racing, I had a passion for high-effort DVD menus. - There are unicycles at the entrance of the factory and inside the factory. The sheer number of unicycles is reminiscent of the 2008 animated version of Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss. - The character designs of Berry Fairies are quite evocative of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. Inspirations: - For the factory idea: - Babes in Toyland (1997 DVD movie) - VeggieTales: An Easter Carol (2004 DVD movie) Credits and thank-you's: - Kiwi, for the School's Out! reference in the story. - Gabor, for the computer textures from Quake!. - Acclaim, for the game itself and some models. - Reused game sounds from: - Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (c) 2003 Vivendi Universal, Universal, DreamWorks, Magenta Software, and Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel himself - Gahan Wilson's The Ultimate Haunted House (c) 1994 Microsoft, Byron Preiss Multimedia, Brooklyn Multimedia, and Gahan Wilson himself - Frank Wen, for the Fluid R3 SoundFont I used for my original composition for this track. - Last, but not least: The Re-Volt community as a whole, for keeping the game alive for years (and decades)!
