FLORAL GREENS This Re-Volt track is my track entry for Re-Volt World's 2024 Leap Year Extravaganza. Name - Floral Greens Author - The Green J Length - 506 normal meters, 524 reverse meters Difficulty - Easy Software used - Blender, Paint.net, Audacity, PowerPoint, RVGL's MAKEITGOOD, LMMS Story: Dateline: Groundhog Day. One year, the groundhog's sighting of his shadow not only heralded an early Spring, but also caused an unusual event. The sky cleared, the weather warmed up, and hundreds of flowers sprouted, all in a hurry. The newly blossomed flora was then intended to be seen by people, and as a result, a new garden trail called Floral Greens was constructed. Surrounding this trail are flowers of different kinds, bees hard at work to pollinate them all, streams crossed by bridges, and a gazebo where yoga can be practiced. This was a chance for the Re-Volt stock cars to use this trail as a racing track. Trivia: - The raceline for this track is made using the Track Editor, and I gave the world mesh a major makeover so that it's not a Lego track. - Same as my other tracks, I composed original music specifically for this track. - This music track is an arrangement of two movements from Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, namely the Pathétique Sonata. Inspirations: - Can't think of what to list for this track...sorry. Credits and thank-you's: - Kiwi, for the radio from School's Out! and the bees from Hood Frontend: Spring. - Acclaim, for the game itself and some models, textures, and sounds. - Used textures: - https://screamingbrainstudios.itch.io/photorealistic-texture-pack - https://screamingbrainstudios.itch.io/photorealistic-texture-pack-2 - https://screamingbrainstudios.itch.io/tiny-texture-pack - https://screamingbrainstudios.itch.io/tiny-texture-pack-2 - Used radio sound: - https://freesound.org/people/Antenalosmusic/sounds/713062/ - Frank Wen, for the Fluid R3 SoundFont I used for my original composition for this track, and a few music sounds. - Last, but not least: The Re-Volt community as a whole, for keeping the game alive for years (and decades)!
